The four Pilgrims holiday cottages are arranged throughout the gardens and are shared with the owners of
The Pilgrims House. This group of attractive buildings is one of the key features of the Conservation Area of
the village. The House and Barn were built in the 16th century and are Grade 2 listed. The village was once
a revered pilgrimage destination for those seeking the healing properties of the fragment of the True Cross
kept at nearby Bromholm Priory. A track behind the property leads to the sandy beach, which is a few minutes
walk away.
